Your primary responsibilities include servicing, upgrading and modernizing existing elevator systems. Key Responsibilities:
- Spearheading the task of upgrading and modernizing existing elevator systems.
- Leveraging your technical expertise and hands-on experience for effective execution of elevator system upgrades.
- Deft usage of hand and electrical tools, hydraulics, wiring, and plumbing.
- Installation of controllers, translation of schematics, testing of elevators, and execution of thorough elevator inspections.
- Troubleshooting potential problems and working towards effective solutions in a range of elevator systems.
- Nurturing a conducive work environment through the mentorship of junior technicians.
Required Qualifications:
- A minimum of 4 years of experience in elevator service and repair.
- Elevator modernization experience required
- Possession of a Certified Elevator Technician CET degree or an Elevator Mechanic License.
- Proficiency in working with both traction and hydraulic elevators.
- Significant experience in using hand and electrical tools, hydraulics, wiring, and plumbing.
- An established record of installing controllers, reading schematics, conducting elevator inspections, and testing of elevators.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
