The Opportunity
Valvoline has a rewarding opportunity as a Digital Program and Portfolio Manager. In this role, you will lead the planning, execution, and successful delivery of technical programs and projects within the organization. This role involves managing a portfolio of programs, aligning them with business objectives, and ensuring optimal resource allocation. This manager will need to collaborate across departments and organizational levels, manage stakeholders and teams, and provide project transparent updates along the way.
How You'll Make a Difference
- Oversee the full lifecycle of our technical programs and tech portfolio from initiation to delivery, ensuring alignment with business goals and objectives.
- Ensure proper scope, project plans, milestones, and risks are identified and transparently documented and cataloged for proper on-time delivery and historical context.
- Engage and manage relationships with key internal stakeholders while ensuring clear communication of progress, risks, and issues.
- Partner with finance stakeholders to provide visibility to the portfolio budget and business value return for both capital and SG&A tech investments with clear and concise reporting.
What You'll Need to Succeed
- Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent in Business Administration, Computer Science, or related field
- PMP certification preferred
- Minimum of seven years of experience in program and portfolio management, focusing on technical and IT-related projects
- Proven experience leading large, complex, cross-functional programs
- Experience with Agile, Scrum, or other program management methodologies
- Excellent communication and storytelling skills
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
