Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain test plans and test cases for SharePoint applications, ensuring thorough coverage of functional and non-functional requirements.
- Conduct functional, regression, and user acceptance testing (UAT) on SharePoint solutions, ensuring alignment with project specifications.
- Perform thorough review and validation of SharePoint workflows, document libraries, content management, and other platform functionalities.
- Identify, document, and track defects through a defined bug-tracking system, working collaboratively with developers for timely resolution.
- Execute tests for SharePoint integrations with other systems as outlined in the Hilton Head RFP, ensuring seamless interoperability.
- Validate permissions, security configurations, and user access roles in SharePoint to ensure compliance with project requirements.
- Generate detailed test reports, metrics, and documentation, presenting findings to project stakeholders and recommending improvements.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in QA testing with a strong focus on SharePoint (SharePoint Online, SharePoint 2016/2019).
- Proficiency in developing test scripts, test cases, and testing SharePoint workflows, document libraries, and site collections.
- Experience with bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla) and QA testing tools.
- Solid understanding of SharePoint security and permissions models.
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and present QA findings to stakeholders.
- SharePoint Certification (Microsoft Certified: SharePoint Administrator, or equivalent) is a plus.
- Experience in automation testing for SharePoint applications.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
