Who We re Looking For:
We re seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented Network Engineer with a CCIE certification to join our client s team in Aurora, CO. This onsite position requires a self-starter who excels in fast-paced environments and brings a proactive approach to addressing complex network challenges. Ideal candidates will have at least 7 years of experience in large-scale network environments, supporting routing, switching, firewalls, and wireless. On-call and off-hours support may be required as needed.

Responsibilities:

Own networking projects, consistently seeking ways to enhance processes and outcomes.
Lead initiatives to optimize network efficiency, performance, and security.
Oversee life-cycle maintenance for all network devices and related equipment.
Design complex, scalable network solutions meeting redundancy and high availability requirements.
Support network-related initiatives, including architecture, design, hardware management, and configuration.
Deploy and configure robust voice and data networks, including routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs.
Manage network security protocols to safeguard sensitive information, coordinating with internal teams and contractors.
Configure and optimize advanced protocols, such as BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, HSRP, VPN, WAF, IPS, TCP/IP, CDN, DNS, and load balancing for network redundancy.
Integrate new technologies to enhance performance, with a preference for experience with public cloud providers (AWS, GCP, Azure).
Conduct thorough analyses of network performance metrics and recommend enhancements.
Review plant records, network schematics, and site surveys to ensure optimal network configuration.
Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
Regularly update network diagrams and wireline schematics to reflect infrastructure changes.

Qualifications:

Certification: CCIE certification is required.
Experience: Minimum of 7 years in network engineering within large-scale environments.
Technical Skills: Expertise in routing, switching, firewalls, and wireless network management.
Networking Protocols: Advanced knowledge of protocols like BGP, OSPF, VPN, DNS, and experience with cloud providers is preferred.
Soft Skills: Excellent communication, project management, and problem-solving skills.
