Description: JSerra Catholic High School is seeking a detail oriented, outgoing individual for a hands-on role dedicated to maintaining and improving communication with students and parents. The ideal candidate should be passionate about Catholic education, excel in team-based decision-making, and have strong communication skills, both written and verbal, and be proficient in utilizing technology effectively. Special Qualities & Characteristics • Passionate for the mission of JSerra (i.e. the integral formation of students' faith, intellect, and character) • Deep appreciation for the Catholic faith and a commitment to the teachings of the Church • Strong initiative and desire to work in a highly collaborative environment • Superior rapport with parents, students, and staff Responsibilities • Answer and respond to attendance telephone calls • Accurately input daily student attendance data in PowerSchool • Assist parents, students, and teachers with attendance matters • Contact parents of all absent students daily • Prepare tardy reports and absence reports for Deans • Supervise student aides • Provide administrative support for Deans' Office • Other duties as assigned Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities • Excellent interpersonal communication skills - both in writing and as presenter • Excellent organizational and administrative skills • Must be proficient with Microsoft suite products including: Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint • Proven ability to manage tasks and meet deadlines with minimal oversight or supervision • Ability to handle confidentiality with tact and discretion Education & Experience • Graduation from High School OR General Education Development (GED) equivalent. • Bachelor's degree preferred • JSerra alumni preferred • Prior experience/background in an Admissions/school administrative role with prior work successes preferred.
