Test Automation Engineer (API/Karate)

Quality Assurance Engineer

Job Responsibilities:

• Implement automation framework and automate test cases using open-source Karate test automation platform to optimize test execution time.
• Maintain and update test suite for new features and perform regression testing.
• Drive testing practices and process setup for the team.
• Contribute to planning activities from a testing perspective and elaborate testing tasks in the Jira board.
• Collaborate with business analysts and technical contacts to understand business requirements and impacts of new functionalities.
• Review and update test cases/scenarios to ensure full test coverage as per the acceptance criteria defined in the user stories.
  

Skills Required:

• Expertise in Java.
• Proficiency in Selenium.
• Experience with KarateAPI/ Postman.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  

Education:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Programming, or Engineering.
