Client have 3 offices in that area that these resources could use, but the CTO is okay with them working remotely as long as they can cover these service areas in the field.
Key Responsibilities of a Fiber Splicer Technician:
Fiber Optic Cable Splicing:
Perform both fusion splicing and mechanical splicing of fiber optic cables.
Ensure precise alignment of glass fibers to minimize signal loss and attenuation.
Use specialized equipment like splicing machines, cleavers, and optical fiber fusion splicing tools.
Testing and Troubleshooting:
Test and measure fiber optic signals using tools like optical time-domain reflectometers (OTDRs), light meters, and power meters.
Troubleshoot fiber optic faults and resolve issues like fiber breaks, signal degradation, or improper connections.
Installation and Maintenance:
Install fiber optic cables in new network setups or perform maintenance on existing systems.
Ensure that fiber optic cables are properly routed, secured, and protected from physical damage.

Tools Used by Fiber Splicer Technicians:
Fusion Splicing Machines: Used to permanently join fiber optic cables.
Fiber Optic Testers and OTDR: For testing the quality of fiber optic lines and identifying faults.
Cleavers: Precision tools used to cut the fibers with an accurate edge.
Strippers and Cutters: To remove the coating from fiber optic cables
