The Accounting Associate serves as an outsourced bookkeeper for clients. They are tasked with handling the day-to-day transactional accounting functions for their clients.

- Works closely with assigned clients to assess general accounting needs
- Properly codes and completes data entry of bank statement, credit card statement, and other bookkeeping transactions
- Reconciles bank accounts and credit card accounts for clients
- Prepares reports, returns, and other documents as required, including sales tax reports, monthly/quarterly/annual financial information, and other reports required by clients
- Assist clients with general ledger and software questions
- Prepares and distributes 1099, 1098, 1096 and other related tax forms
- Provides back-up support as needed to other accounting services personnel and their clients
- Associate's Degree in Accounting or equivalent work experience preferred
- 2+ years of accounting or bookkeeping experience required
- Strong technology skills
- QuickBooks Desktop and Quickbooks Online experience preferred
- Ability to work on multiple projects and meet deadlines
- Ability to communicate clearly in writing and verbally
- Team player
- Ability to think innovatively
