Job Details
As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will be tasked with the completion of the assigned tasks within the budgeted time and cost constraints for our manufacturing operations for both new product development as well as existing product lines.
Expect to compile and evaluate test and production data in order to prepares technical analysis, recommend manufacturing methods, and confirm processes to meet design objectives on new or improved products and/or processes. The ideal candidate will feel comfortable identifying and evaluating opportunities for improvement and make specific recommendations for adoption based on cost analyses to reduce or optimize product costs and determine specific requirements of manufacturing operation in order to specify equipment, fixturing, and process parameters. Finally, this role will collaborate on design with suppliers to fulfill equipment and fixturing requirements.
Minimum Requirements:
Core Competencies:
Understanding of overall materials flow and other functions linked to the Design, Supply Chain and manufacturing.
Strong project management skills, including the ability to prioritize, balance, and manage multiple efforts with strong results/goal orientation
Solid analytical skills and solution-driven thinking
Ability to provide cross-functional and organizational leadership within a highly matrixed organization.
Education:
BS in Engineering or equivalent
Minimum 5 years of manufacturing engineering experience required, ideally in a highly regulated environment
Pneumatic or hydraulic product or electromechanical or motors product experience strongly preferred

- Experience in designing manufacturing aides and tooling.
- CAD/Drafting experience (GD&T).
- Working knowledge for mechanical and electrical assemblies.
- Experience in technical writing (work instructions, processes, etc.).
- Proven ability to collaborate with both Engineering and Production.
- Knowledgeable in lean manufacturing principles and six sigma methodology
- Proficient in financial and statistical analysis
