As a Merch II in Nike Global Men's Running you will be a part of a merchant team responsible for Nike Running's Line Plan, Marketplace Assortment, and reading & responding to the Men's Running business.
This posting has two role openings: One footwear focused Merchant II role and one Apparel focused Merchant II role.
You'll partner with several cross-functional teams - consumer planning, product creation, GEO merch, and consumer insights & analytics as well as the gender merchandising teams. A key enabler of your success will be your background and experience in retail.

You have demonstrated an awareness and understanding of the consumer and the dynamics of the marketplace. You have shown a passion to learn, make mistakes, and grow. You have an entrepreneurial spirit and excited to take on new concepts and ideas.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Merchandising, Marketing, or equivalent combination of education, experience and training
- Demonstrated understanding of consumer and marketplace
- Entrepreneurial spirit, experience working on new projects/start-ups/concepts/ideas
- Proficiency in analyzing business and consumer trends
- Attention to detail
- Ability to collaboratively manage multiple deadlines and competing priorities
- Effective verbal and written communication skills, including presentations to various cross-functional partners
- Team first mentality, energy giver
You will enable the strategizing, building, and managing of global 3-year line plans and product journeys cross-functionally, Assortments focused on marketplace distinction, and reading and responding to the running business.
A consistent part of your day-to-day responsibilities will be the detailed management, maintenance and communication of all seasonal tools and assortments, as well-as analysis on the performance of products. Enabling this effort will be the development of key relationships among cross-functional teammates, comfort with research and analysis, along with a genuine curiosity and commitment to learn and evolve.
