  1. Make sure the webpage is open.
  2. In the Safari app on your Mac, choose Safari > Preferences, then click Security.
  3. Make sure the Enable JavaScript checkbox is selected.
  4. Click Websites.
  5. On the left, click Content Blockers.
  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

Location: 1401 E. Broad St. Annex Building, Richmond, VA 23219

Duration:8 + Months

  • This position requires that the resource works onsite 2 -3 days a week or as needed.
  • VDOT is looking for experienced Java/angular developer with 8 + years' experience in IT.
  • Experience with Java, J2EE architecture, JSP, Servlets, XML, JSON, XSL , SQL, PL/SQL, JDBC, OO Design, CSS, HTML, AJAX, eclipse, Tomcat, JavaScript and knowledgeable with the Windows platform.
  • Ability to design and code using modern day frameworks such as Angular, Typescript and other web-related technologies.
  • Experience with .Net and C# is a huge plus.
  • Experience with relational database design and development with Oracle and MSSQL
  • Experience in software design, development, and testing of web-based software applications
  • Strong conceptual, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
  • Strong interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills

Required skills:

  • Experience with Java, J2EE Architecture, JSP, Servlets, JDBC
  • Experience with PL/SQL, MSSQL Programming
  • Experience with front end technologies using Angular
  • Experience with Eclipse, Tomcat
  • Experience with Agile SDLC best practices
  • Experience with Azure DevOps or similar for code management and CI/CD pipeline
  • Experience with C#/.NET
