We are supporting our client in the search for a Program Manager to join their forward-thinking team who are focused on revolutionizing the battery industry through next-generation, all-solid-state rechargeable batteries. This role is embedded in an energetic, fast-paced, and collaborative environment. As Program Manager, you will serve as the key resource, guiding product and manufacturing process development and overseeing joint development initiatives with key partners. This vital position is instrumental in helping our client achieve successful partnerships and product milestones.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead complex, global programs to ensure delivery within approved schedules, budgets, and quality standards
  • Take full accountability for assigned programs from initiation to completion, acting as the primary point of contact internally and with external partners
  • Organize cross-functional activities to achieve timely and budget-conscious program deliverables
  • Engage frequently across functional teams and with senior leaders to align program objectives
  • Review product documentation and communications to ensure alignment with both internal development goals and external messaging
  • Establish and maintain effective communication channels with joint development partners and internal stakeholders
  • Support the client’s cross-functional team throughout all APQP development phases, from concept through production
  • Manage phase-gate reviews and ensure the completion of critical program milestones

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a technical field is required
  • Minimum of 10 years of industry experience, with at least 5 years in program management roles with a focus on product development or manufacturing
  • Demonstrated planning and organizational expertise with a solid background in project management practices and tools
  • Thorough understanding of product development processes and phase-gate frameworks
  • Excellent communication skills across all levels of an organization, from executive leadership to technical teams
  • Proven track record in leading and influencing diverse teams and stakeholders
  • Experience with cross-functional team leadership and a strong ability to build consensus
  • Quick to adapt and thrive in a start-up or fast-paced environment
  • Skilled at holding team members accountable to deliverables and deadlines
  • Able to work autonomously, with a strong sense of urgency and results orientation
  • Customer-facing program management experience preferable
  • Knowledge of battery cell development or manufacturing
  • Experience in the automotive sector (OEM/tier 1) and deep understanding of APQP processes
  • Experience with joint development partnerships
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Project, MS Office Suite, and SAP
  • PMP certification or ability to achieve it within the first year of employment
  • Ability to travel internationally
  • Korean language proficiency is a plus
