Virginia Mason Franciscan Health is seeking a dynamic and experienced LMS Specialist to lead the development, implementation, and administration of our Learning Management System (LMS).
In this role, you will:

Education/Work Experience Requirements
Associate's degree in education, education technology, instructional design, computer science or related field and five years related work experience that demonstrates attainment of the requisite job knowledge skills/abilities, preferably including specific experience in instructional design, instructional technology and/or multimedia technologies in an LMS environment. Previous experience as an LMS administrator and/or webmaster, as well as previous work experience in a large healthcare setting, is preferred.
Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred.
Or any equivalent combination of education and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the essential functions of the position.

Virginia Mason Franciscan Health is seeking a dynamic and experienced LMS Specialist to lead the development, implementation, and administration of our Learning Management System (LMS).
In this role, you will:
- Design and develop engaging online courses: Leverage your expertise in instructional design and e-learning tools (e.g., Captivate, Camtasia, Lectora) to create high-quality, interactive training programs.
- Manage the LMS platform: Ensure the smooth operation of the LMS, troubleshoot technical issues, and collaborate with vendors and IT to optimize system performance.
- Develop and implement competency-based learning solutions: Work with stakeholders to identify training needs and create effective learning programs that enhance employee skills and productivity.
- Stay ahead of the curve: Research and recommend new technologies and best practices to continuously improve the LMS and learning experience.
- Collaborate and mentor: Work closely with internal teams, external vendors, and the LMS Advisory Council to ensure the LMS meets the needs of the organization.
