Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior BI Analyst to join our team on a 9-month contract with the potential for extension. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design high-performance data visualization solutions, prototype rapid solutions, and ensure the ongoing scalability of analytics across the organization. You ll have the opportunity to guide junior team members and actively shape solution development standards for enterprise-wide BI initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with business units and stakeholders to conduct iterative user design sessions, creating rapid solution prototypes.
  • Partner with Data Engineers and Data Scientists to define and implement optimal BI solutions that deliver actionable insights.
  • Mentor and guide junior team members on development best practices, fostering knowledge transfer within the team.
  • Design and architect data visualization solutions for large-scale projects, ensuring performance, maintainability, and scalability.
  • Lead cross-functional problem-solving sessions to align on project solutions that balance stakeholder requirements.
  • Provide regular project status updates, escalate issues, and communicate project risks to represent the interests of the Visualization Team.
  • Establish and maintain data visualization governance and development standards, continuously improving solution quality and efficiency across the enterprise.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor s degree in a related field; in lieu of degree, 7+ years of relevant experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a BI Analyst or in a related field.
  • Strong SQL skills and extensive experience in data visualization (Power BI and/or Tableau).
  • Experience with payment integrity and Snowflake is highly preferred.
  • Familiarity with Facets (healthcare platform) is strongly preferred.

Preferred Skills:

  • Payment Integrity experience.
  • Proficiency with Snowflake.
  • Knowledge of the Facets healthcare platform.
