Title: IT Director Project Platforms
Location: Hybrid in Mountain View, CA | Arlington, VA | Houston, TX | Hybrid 2 -3 days/week onsite
Term: FTE, Direct Hire

Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT Director Project Platforms with expertise in the EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) industry, specifically within utilities, renewable energy, energy, and construction sectors. The ideal candidate is a technical expert with a deep understanding of Oracle systems, including Oracle Primavera and P6, and has experience implementing and enhancing these systems to optimize business processes. This role requires a candidate who can oversee day-to-day operations and effectively integrate scheduling tools to improve visibility and coordination across projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leverage in-depth industry expertise in EPC sectors to provide solutions that support business objectives.
  • Manage the implementation and enhancement of Oracle systems, ensuring a deep, technical understanding of these platforms.
  • Oversee daily operations of Oracle Primavera, maintaining oversight and ensuring optimal system performance.
  • Integrate Oracle P6 with Unifier to address scheduling visibility issues and streamline project management processes.
  • Collaborate with schedulers and project managers to ensure effective use of Oracle tools for project scheduling and coordination.

Qualifications:
  • 10+ years of experience in technical roles with a focus on Oracle systems within the EPC industry.
  • Hands-on experience in Oracle Primavera and P6, with a solid understanding of project scheduling and system integration.
  • Strong finance background, including knowledge of FP&A, Accounting, and the ability to communicate effectively with CFOs and project delivery teams.
  • Familiarity with the project lifecycle within the construction industry.

Preferred Skills:
  • SAP experience is a plus, with knowledge of its integration as an ERP system.
