Looking for a self-motivated individual with solid interpersonal skills to help provide onsite first level support to employees working with our outside IT vendors on a variety of technologies - User PCs, Campus Network, Internet Access, Microsoft and Engineering Software, ERP Software, Barcode Scanners, Printers, Security Cameras & VOIP Phones.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide hands-on troubleshooting support of hardware and software issues.
  • Engage Tier 2 vendor support for assistance as necessary.
  • Open tickets with different vendors and track issues to completion.
  • Perform user PC setup/install support for new employees and replacement equipment.
  • Assists in the maintenance of voice, data, and computer equipment.
  • Maintain user systems lists, equipment inventory and preventative maintenance schedules.
  • Assist in adding or adjusting ERP User profiles as you grow in your knowledge of our ERP platform.
  • Perform ERP development testing of enhancements prior to production release.
  • Grow skills and working knowledge of the different technologies used to support our manufacturing needs.
  • Other duties as assigned.

DESIRED BACKGROUND:

Education & Experience

  • Looking for technical school certification or 1+ years of relevant experience.
  • Working knowledge of MS Office (MS Excel or SQL data analysis a plus).
  • Ability to operate tools, components, and peripheral accessories.

Skills

  • Excellent listening and questioning skills, combined with the ability to interact confidently with users to establish what the problem is and explain steps towards resolution.
  • Able to think logically, diagnose and resolve basic technical issues.
  • Ability to think outside the box and know when to ask for help.
  • Ability to prioritize and execute tasks
  • Ability to lift and or move various computer equipment up to 50 Lbs.
