Position Overview:
The AV Technician 3 will take the lead in the installation and setup of complex AV systems. This role is ideal for someone with strong technical experience in pre-wiring, trim, and equipment setup who can lead on-site work and mentor junior technicians. You will also contribute to the company s ongoing efforts to define and refine technical specialties such as rack building and programming.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the installation and configuration of AV systems, including pre-wiring, trim, and equipment setup
- Mentor and guide junior technicians, ensuring best practices are followed
- Work with project managers and clients to meet project specifications and timelines
- Ensure high standards of installation, focusing on both functionality and aesthetics
- Assist in specialty areas like rack building, lighting, and shades
- Troubleshoot issues as they arise and ensure systems are optimized for client use
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in AV installation (at least 3 years)
- Proficiency with Crestron, Savant, Control4, and Lutron systems is preferred
- Clean driving record is required
- Ability to work independently and lead a team
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Programming skills are a bonus but not required

Compensation:
Hourly rate: $35-$45/hr plus overtime
