Duties and Responsibilities:
- Addresses and solves level 1 IT issues
- Addresses problems in a timely manner.
- Aids in documentation of IT processes and stores them in a central document repository.
- Keeps IT equipment updates current to supported levels.
- Communicates all required information including any changes of procedures or status of IT assets.
- Keeps documentation of currently assigned assets up to date.
- Works on special projects as necessary.
Required Skills/Abilities/Competencies:
- Strong desire to learn more about all areas of technology in a progressive environment
- Ability to work under pressure and multi-task
- Ability to maintain a positive attitude in challenging circumstances
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, in an understandable manner, and listen attentively to employees
- Provides IT guidance to team members and communicates well with the IT Manager
- Strong organizational, time management, and follow through skills
- Proficient in MS programs.
- Basic Windows networking a plus
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1+ year experience in computer software and hardware applications or equivalent
