Construciton Assistant Project Manager

Position Overview:

Per Se Group is seeking a dedicated Assistant Project Manager to support the Project Manager in overseeing ground-up construction projects. The Assistant Project Manager will play a key role in ensuring the seamless execution of all phases of construction, including industrial, commercial, distribution, and logistics centers, by providing critical support in project planning, coordination, and communication.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the Project Manager in managing ground-up construction projects from start to finish.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure project objectives are met.
• Support in the development and monitoring of project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
• Help track project progress, report on milestones, and ensure deadlines are met.
• Prepare and maintain essential project documentation such as RFIs, submittals, and change orders.
• Participate in project meetings, ensuring that action items are captured and followed up on.
• Assist in managing client relationships by providing regular project updates and addressing concerns promptly.
• Monitor on-site activities to ensure compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and quality standards.
• Help resolve any issues or challenges that arise during the construction process.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in construction project management support or coordination roles.
• Familiarity with industrial, commercial, or logistics center construction is preferred.
• Strong organizational, multitasking, and communication skills.
• Proficiency with project management software and construction technologies.
• Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
