A few details about the role:

  • Develop, implement, and oversee area sales strategies to achieve or exceed occupancy and revenue targets for IL units across multiple communities.
  • Partner with and mentor Community Sales Directors, providing guidance, support, and performance monitoring to ensure each community meets its sales benchmarks.
  • Analyze market data to assess sales performance, identify opportunities for growth, and adjust strategies as necessary to maximize occupancy and market share.
  • Collaborate with Community Sales Directors and Executive Directors to build and maintain a robust pipeline of prospective residents and referrals, fostering long-term relationships within each community.
  • Actively participate in the creation and execution of marketing and public relations plans for each community, ensuring alignment with corporate goals and local market conditions.
  • Work with marketing and communications teams to ensure targeted campaigns effectively generate qualified leads to support community sales efforts.
  • Collaborate with the SVP of Sales and IL Sales Managing Director to evaluate pricing strategies and market competitiveness, ensuring products are aligned with market expectations and maximize revenue.
  • Participate in the development of long-term area sales strategies, considering market trends, competitive analysis, and business objectives.
  • Travel frequently to various communities within the designated area to support sales efforts.

And here’s what you need to apply:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related field preferred.
  • Eight to ten years of executive-level sales leadership experience, preferably within retirement housing, CCRC (Continuing Care Retirement Community), or a related industry.
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales and occupancy goals across multiple locations or regions.
  • Strong understanding of market analysis, competitive positioning, and pricing strategies.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and CRM systems like Salesforce.
