Hulu’s Publicity team is seeking an Events Coordinator to develop and execute FOMO-inducing, experiences across our growing slate. They will be a vital part of a publicity pod that develops strategic initiatives to promote our shows and brand in attention-grabbing and unique ways, positioning Hulu as a leader in event marketing. The role is an individual contributor who reports to the VP, Events and works closely with the Originals Public Relations, Marketing, Social, Awards, Brand Partnership, Brand and Content teams within Hulu and across TWDC divisions.

- Handle a diverse range of administrative duties including calendar management and meeting scheduling, travel bookings, T&E submissions, template and database creation for the VP.
- Manage logistical responsibilities, in addition to small scale events that elevate Hulu Originals and Brand such as supporting across: premieres, festivals, conventions, consumer activations, talent dinners, tastemaker experiences, press junkets, influencer events, internal events, launch kits, and stunts.
- Gather and distribute weekly Events updates across Hulu.
- Own the creation and execution of SOW’s while liaising with the Legal team.
- Source and submit invoices from suppliers and partners and assist with tracking, managing, and reconciling costs.
- Manage Hulu storage inventory, storage facility locations, and monthly billing statements.
- Perform departmental day-to-day activities including: work closely with admins across the organization, Finance and Legal teams.
- 1+ years of relevant experience; publicity/studio/network/agency; some events knowledge within film/TV premieres is a bonus, and working with talent, representatives, and executives.
- Passion for Hulu content, storytelling, television, entertainment, pop culture, production, and events.
- Discernment. You habitually exercise discretion with internal, sensitive, and confidential business; you're keenly aware of your location, audience, surroundings, and who might be listening.
- Thinking equal parts strategically, analytically, and have a healthy sense of urgency.
- Some knowledge of event logistics, i.e., guest journey, venue decisions, permitting, ROS + event flow, food + beverage, décor, rentals, staffing, transportation, security, audio visual, content, guest demographic, riders, tech packs, insurance.
- A focus on the details, multitasking without missing a beat, swift follow up and an efficient and organized approach to project management.
- Knowledge of the event and entertainment industry's trends, practices, and terminology.
- Interpersonal and project management skills to creatively solve problems through negotiation, tact, and diplomacy.
- Savoir-faire regarding the nuances of working with executives, talent, and industry representatives.
- Verbal and written communication skills.
- Fluency in commonly used cloud-based software: Microsoft 365, G-Suite, Apple iWorks, Slack, SFDC.
- Ability to travel, work evenings, holidays, and weekends as needed.
- Self-direction with a high sense of urgency–a proactive and adaptable "doer"; comfortable operating with ambiguity and change; eager to learn and build; unafraid to ask questions, raise your hand for help, or offer it up.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
