Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and seasoned SAP Project Manager to lead large-scale SAP ERP implementations, including S/4HANA Cloud, within the Aerospace & Defense sector. This role requires strategic planning, team leadership, and effective stakeholder engagement, ensuring the successful delivery of projects on time and within budget.

Key Activities and Position Responsibilities: Project Planning and Scheduling:
Develop and maintain a comprehensive project plan detailing phases, tasks, milestones, and deliverables.
Define clear project scope, objectives, and timelines, aligning with organizational goals.
Create and execute a resource allocation plan, ensuring all necessary resources are available.

Stakeholder Management:
Identify key stakeholders and delineate their roles and responsibilities.
Maintain regular communication with stakeholders on project status, addressing concerns and expectations.
Facilitate meetings to foster collaboration and align project goals.

Team Management:
Assemble and lead a high-performing project team, ensuring clarity in roles and responsibilities.
Promote a collaborative environment, proactively resolving conflicts and issues.
Provide mentorship and training opportunities for team members to enhance their skills.

Budget and Cost Management:
Develop and oversee the project budget, ensuring adherence to financial limits.
Monitor and control project expenditures, optimizing resource utilization.
Address budget-related challenges with agility and implement necessary adjustments.

Risk Management:
Identify potential risks early and formulate effective mitigation strategies.
Continuously monitor risks throughout the project lifecycle, taking proactive actions as needed.
Establish contingency plans for critical risks to ensure project resilience.

Communication Management:
Design and implement a comprehensive communication plan for internal and external stakeholders.
Ensure clarity in communicating project status, issues, and changes.
Maintain accurate documentation and reports on project progress.

Quality Management:
Establish quality standards for project deliverables and implement quality control processes.
Conduct regular quality assurance checks to uphold project integrity.
Address and resolve any quality issues swiftly.

Change Management:
Manage changes to the project scope, schedule, or resources effectively.
Ensure all changes are documented, clearly communicated, and approved.
Minimize impact on project timelines and deliverables due to changes.

Vendor and Partner Management:
Collaborate with external vendors and partners during SAP ERP implementation.
Manage contracts, ensuring deliverables meet expectations and addressing any related challenges.

Go-Live and Post-Implementation Support:
Develop and execute a go-live plan to facilitate a smooth transition to the new system.
Provide robust support during the initial post-go-live phase to quickly resolve any issues.
Complete project closure with thorough documentation and knowledge transfer.

Compliance and Governance:
Ensure all project activities align with organizational policies, standards, and regulatory requirements.
Conduct regular reviews and audits to uphold compliance and governance.

Education and Experience:
Bachelor s degree in a technical discipline or related field.
PMP certification preferred.
Advanced proficiency in MS Office, including MS Project.
5+ years of experience in SAP Project Management, particularly with large-scale projects.
Experience with SAP Cloud implementations (S/4 HANA Cloud Public or Private) preferred.
Knowledge of the SAP Activate Methodology is a plus.
Expertise in SAP Finance and ERP modules, with a background in leading conversion projects within finance platforms.
Strong change management experience.
