Candidate will be responsible for all IT related projects. The IT PM will oversee, document, track all project related tasks in partnership with respective system analysts, functional leads and vendors if applicable. Project management responsibilities include the coordination and completion of projects on time within budget and within scope. Oversee all aspects of projects. Set deadlines, assign responsibilities and monitor and summarize progress of project. Prepare reports for upper management regarding status of project. The successful candidate will work directly with clients to ensure deliverables fall within the applicable scope and budget. He or she will coordinate with other departments to ensure all aspects of each project fall within adherence to requirements and expectations.Key Responsibilities Include: Execute projects in alignment with the organization's strategic plans and objectivesCreation of all PM related documentation such as the Project Charter, WBS, GANT charts, Risk Mitigation plan and moreManage expectations from initial problem identification and through the project lifecycleDevelop and gain sponsor approval and signoff of the project charter and work breakdown scheduleDevelop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progressEnsure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budgetCoordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projectsMeasure project performance using appropriate tools and techniquesCoordinating weekly sessions with team leads and IT staff for status updatesOwnership of Project Portfolio accuracy with regards to project inception to closureAssessing 3rd party associated costs as required by technical lead i.e. licensing costs for integration tools, and so on.Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendorsMeet with clients to take detailed ordering briefs and clarify specific requirements of each projectObtaining approval for all project related costs from CIOManaging and maintaining all project related documentation centrally and updating as neededCoordination of communication and deliverables alongside 3rd party PM as requiredCoordination of demos and discovery sessions to include both respective IT and functional stakeholdersLeading best practice approaches in the fields of Rev Cycle, HL7 integration, EHR upgrade/migration and more in order reduce reworkDemonstrate ability to take initiative, prioritize work, manage time and respond effectively to a rapidly changing environmentDemonstrate knowledge and skills in assessing and mitigating risks through risk planningDemonstrate success managing other project managers, project portfolios and/or multiple projects simultaneouslyDemonstrate experience in business development and/or strategic and tactical planning and execution including communications, and financial planningDemonstrate ability to inform and influence senior leadership, management and individuals in various parts of the organization to work toward successful outcomesDemonstrate ability to quickly understand and align with an organization, its structure and prioritiesExercise sound political and environmental judgment as appropriate to support successful project implementationDemonstrate experience managing the process of design, development, integration and/or implementation of software products or facilitiesUse and continually develop leadership skillsAttend conferences and training as required to maintain proficiencyPerform other related duties as assignedDevelop spreadsheets, diagrams and process maps to document needs Bachelor's degree in Computer Technology, Information Systems, or related fieldMust be Project Management Professional (PMP) certifiedSix Sigma certification preferred5+ years of experience in leading information technology projects5+ years of project management experience in the areas of Revenue Cycle and Healthcare3-5 years of experience leading large, diverse and complex projectsPreferred experience with NextGen, IDX, ServiceNow, Salesforce or related systemsExtensive knowledge of healthcare, technical and registration/billing related workflowsFundamental understanding of the Agile Development modelExpertise and experience with Project Management methodology based on project management principlesProven working experience in project managementExcellent client-facing and internal communication skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsSolid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skillsStrong working knowledge of Microsoft OfficeExperience facilitating complex decisions making among multiple executive stakeholders with different interests and priorities is essentialSkilled in strategic planning, program management, group motivation, discipline and diplomacyExperienced in vendor/contract management and negotiations
