TTL, a growing engineering design firm, now with more than 450 employees, needs a dedicated and experienced candidate to bolster our transportation development efforts in Nashville as a transportation design engineer. You ll be tasked with a variety of transportation engineering responsibilities as you develop and analyze design plans on various transportation projects and apply them to roadway design.
We ll need you to build and maintain relationships with clients throughout Tennessee and the Southeast, and you must have a clear understanding of AASHTO, state, and local design criteria. Requirements:
- Bachelor s degree in civil engineering (master s degree preferred)
- Tennessee PE license, or the ability to obtain one within six months
- Six to eight years of experience in design services
- Experience in Microstation, Geopak, and OpenRoads.
- Proficient with Tennessee Department of Transportation design guidance, standards, and production tools
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD and Civil 3D
Desired qualifications:
- Traffic engineering background
- Strong technical writing and communication skills
- Drainage design experience
Starting Pay: $125,000 depending on qualifications and experience.
