Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our midstream EPC team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering, with expertise in the design, analysis, and execution of midstream projects, including pipelines, compressors, and related facilities. This role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful delivery of projects while adhering to budget, schedule, and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead mechanical design and engineering activities for midstream projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Develop and review mechanical engineering deliverables, including specifications, calculations, drawings, and reports.
  • Conduct detailed mechanical analysis, including stress analysis, fluid dynamics, and thermal analysis.
  • Oversee procurement activities, including the evaluation and selection of mechanical equipment and materials.
  • Collaborate with project managers, clients, and other engineering disciplines to define project scope, schedule, and deliverables.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and team members.
  • Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure compliance with design specifications and safety standards.
  • Participate in risk assessments and contribute to the development of mitigation strategies.
  • Stay current with industry trends, technologies, and best practices to drive continuous improvement in engineering processes.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license is highly desirable.
  • Minimum of 10-15 years of experience in mechanical engineering within the oil and gas industry, with a focus on midstream projects.
  • Strong knowledge of industry standards (ASME, API, ANSI) and design codes.
  • Proficient in mechanical design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, CAE tools).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a strong attention to detail.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
