Job Title: Testing Technician Lead Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Testing Technician Lead who will be responsible for performing testing on equipment such as analog, digital, video, logic circuits, components, and instruments. The successful candidate will measure power, signal, and temperature, review test results with staff, and make recommendations on repair, maintenance, and refinement of equipment. You will also assign work, monitor progress, and lead a team of 5 electronic assemblers.

6am to 2:30pm

Responsibilities
  • Perform testing on equipment such as analog, digital, video, logic circuits, components, and instruments.
  • Measure power, signal, and temperature.
  • Review test results with staff and make recommendations on repair, maintenance, and refinement of equipment.
  • Assign work and monitor progress.
  • Lead a team of 5 electronic assemblers.
Essential Skills
  • Experience with schematic, thru-hole, and circuit board testing.
  • Expertise in troubleshooting, leading teams, and working with electrical panels.
  • 3-5 years of experience in testing electrical components.
  • Experience with high volume testing for production panels.
  • Knowledge of AC -> DC / DC -> AC (inverter background), bench testing, calibration, electrical panels, probes, and high voltage.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Perform work under minimal supervision.
  • Handle complex issues and problems, referring only the most complex issues to higher-level staff.
  • Possess comprehensive knowledge of the subject matter.
  • Provide leadership, coaching, and/or mentoring to a subordinate group.
  • Act as a lead or first-level supervisor.
  • Accreditation from a technical school or an applicable skilled trades program.
  • 4 to 6 years of experience.
