Our National Financial Mortgage client is looking to hire a dynamic and meticulous Senior Loan Origination System Project Manager/BSA (PERM) for their remote team based out of Southern California and Texas. Your primary responsibilities will be to work with the internal business departments responsible for the Loan Originations to act as the SME from Technology- gather requirements, devise strong project plans, execute and project manage and resolve the outcomes to completion . You will work closely with both the internal stakeholders and the developers, and act as a liaison between the two.

Ideal qualifications include:

• 5+ years experience as a Project Manager with Business Analyst capabilities
• 3+ years experience in an Agile environment
• Task management mentality that can write strong Project plans (Agile and Waterfall/Agile with Sprints) to manage timelines and implementations of system enhancements
• Must have good understanding of all the impacting business risks and dependencies and have good communication skills to assess and communicate those impacts.
• Strong knowledge of Mortgage Loan Origination (e.g. Encompass or Empower) lifecycle with ability to assess how these changes to the system impact the various diff departments.
• Previous experience working on diverse set of projects that touched a number of different departments within the company.
• Significant subject matter expertise in project management of Mortgage technology projects. The ability to understand the business sufficiently to communicate and coordinate solution delivery with team.
• Strong Mortgage Loan Origination fundamentals experience and the work breakdown- in 2025, you will be working with a lot of projects focused on streamlining workflows and enhancing cost efficiencies, working through system enhancements, change requests to and adding new features and offers to their borrowers.
• Project Manager must be comfortable and thrive wearing multiple hats including BSA, system analyst and liaison to 3^rd part vendor and the internal business- you will be leading the system enhancements, changes, dealing with the developers, technical team and the various depts- such as closers, underwriters and processors; recognizing the impact on finance, operations, reporting et al and take it all into account
• Experience with Agile software development lifecycle tools
• Candidate must be an excellent communicator at all levels of the organization

• Must be assertive with a go-getter attitude as well as have strong understanding of workflow of the loan origination process lifecycle. Must be flexible and adaptable to also learn the way the company does things.

• Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite of applications (Excel, World, Visio, PowerPoint and Project).
• Previous Loan Origination Mortgage financial industry experience is needed

Key responsibilities:

• Manage overall Loan origination Project portfolio of system issues, enhancements, and new initiative requests. Direct and develop strategies, track and manage resolutions.
• Ensure all projects are prioritized according to goals and business objectives, identity competing projects and create sound project plans to work with the business to achieve success.
• Develop project scope, schedule and budget and manage mini project to task resolution throughout program/project lifecycle.
• Manage changes in project scope and identify and create risk and mitigation plans.
• Facilitate business strategies, clarify ensure business goals and needs are correctly captured and relayed to technology.
• Perform new business initiative analysis and provide documentation of overall Project Plan and solution delivery in accordance with the company s standard Project Management methodology.
• Facilitate steering committee meetings to discuss priorities and overall status. Track and communicate progress effectively, managing expectations and problem resolution status with team members and stakeholders.
• Identify initiatives from goals and requirements and assist in process design and optimization.
• Prioritize project resources and coordinator third-party, vendor and/or IT Resources.
• Maintain strong working relationship with internal teams in technology and business along with external vendors as needed.
• Handle ambiguity and deal with multiple points of view on highly complex issues and to negotiate and integrate different viewpoints

• Interact with Senior Management as an advisor on projects, and act as the company s principal spokesperson within Technology on the Project Management methods to deliver on each LOS business initiative.
