  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced GIS Full Stack Developer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a pivotal role in the design, development, and lifecycle management of high-performing applications. You ll leverage your expertise across front-end and back-end technologies to create innovative solutions that enhance user experience and drive operational efficiencies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain full-stack applications, ensuring scalability and performance.
  • Program and maintain web services using .Net, Python, and NodeJS.
  • Develop and manage SQL/PostgreSQL databases, including creating, updating, and querying.
  • Build intuitive and responsive UIs with React, HTML/CSS, and JavaScript/TypeScript.
  • Employ testing best practices to ensure application reliability and quality.
  • Develop and manage API communication structures, primarily REST/JSON.
  • Lead migration efforts from on-prem solutions to AWS containerized environments (EKS).
  • Update applications to incorporate AWS native tools like RDS and MSK.
  • Utilize Git, Azure DevOps, or BitBucket for source control and version management.
  • Contribute to code reviews, technical design solutions, and ensure adherence to coding standards.
  • Collaborate within an Agile team, contributing to sprint planning, retrospectives, and continuous improvement.

Required Qualifications

Experience: 8+ years in full-stack application design, development, and lifecycle.

Backend: Proficient in .Net, Python, and NodeJS.

Database: Strong experience with SQL or PostgreSQL-REQUIRED

Frontend: Hands-on expertise in React, HTML/CSS, and JavaScript/TypeScript.

API Development: Proficiency in REST/JSON API structures.

Source Control: Proficiency in Git, Azure DevOps, and BitBucket.

Agile Methodology: Strong understanding of Agile workflows and best practices.

Nice to Have

Experience with legacy system modernization, including code migration.

Hands-on experience with GIS technologies, including open-source and commercial platforms (GIS service standards, ESRI Map Services, APIs, SQL Server, and/or PostgreSQL).
