We are in search of a talented SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) & Yard Logistics (YL) Subject Matter Expert (SME) Consultant to join our Atlanta, GA team. As a key player, you will lead the design, implementation, and support of SAP Materials Management (MM), EWM, and Yard Logistics modules. Your responsibilities encompass project deliverables, including blueprinting, functional and technical specifications, system configuration, testing, training, and go-live support for various SAP templates.
Key Responsibilities:
Spearhead the design, implementation, and support of SAP MM, EWM, and YL modules.
Develop project deliverables like blueprints, functional and technical specs, system configuration, testing, training, and go-live support.
Serve as an SME for EWM and YL processes and SAP technology.
Translate business requirements into viable solutions.
Integrate SAP modules with diverse systems and technologies.
Lead requirements gathering, draft functional and technical specification documents, and define test scenarios and acceptance criteria.
Design intricate configuration management solutions for MM, EWM, and YL scenarios.
Ensure high-quality products post system integration testing (SIT).
Qualifications:
Hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Possess 5+ years of SAP Logistics experience, including multiple implementations, production support, and enhancement projects within Automotive and Process Industries.
Show proficiency in SAP MM and EWM processes (3+ years) and SAP Yard Logistics configuration (1-2 years).
Demonstrate strong knowledge of MM, EWM, and YL, including master data, customization, and integration with other SAP modules like Plant Maintenance.
Familiarity with Supply Chain business models, SAP WM, wireless technologies, and material handling systems.
Expertise in EWM architecture configuration, warehouse structure, stock management, production staging, movements, put away, picking strategies, and mobile data entry.
Exhibit leadership skills to guide teams, collaborate effectively, and interact positively.
Possess a results-driven mindset with adaptability, flexibility, and resourcefulness.
