Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated Network Security Architect to design, implement, and optimize network security solutions utilizing Palo Alto and Fortinet technology. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of network architecture and security protocols, as well as hands-on experience with Palo Alto and Fortinet products. They should possess strong problem-solving skills and the ability to prioritize shifting workloads in a rapidly changing environment. An effective communicator and a confident leader, the candidate should be equipped with strong people management skills and a genuine passion to make things happen in a dynamic organization.
Qualifications:
- Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Engineer (PCNSE) Certification is strongly preferred.
- Fortinet Certified Professional (FCP) Certification is strongly preferred.
- 8+ years of experience in Architecture or Sr. Network Security engineering.
- 5+ years of experience in designing and deploying technical solutions in a large-scale complex environment.
- 5+ years of experience in network security architecture.
- Hands-on experience with Palo Alto and Fortinet products.
- Strong understanding of network protocols and security best practices.
- Experience with a NAC (Aruba Clearpass, Cisco Client, and ForeScout) environment is strongly desired.
- Experience installing, managing, and supporting production network and computer security systems comprised of multiple network hardware and software.
- Strong understanding of Routing, Switching, 802.1X, 802.1Q VLAN, VPN, LAN, WAN, RADIUS, and Network Security.
- Knowledge of security standards, procedures, and technologies.
- Network administrator experience and network security experience is a plus.
- Security and Network certification such as CISSP, SSCP, GIAC, or CCIE is a plus.
- Healthcare provider industry experience is preferred.
- Education: Bachelor's degree or relevant experience.
