BCforward is currently seeking a highly motivated Document Processor - Juris Doctor for an opportunity located in Chicago, IL 60603
Position Title: Document Processor - Juris Doctor
Location: Chicago, IL 60603
Please note this is the target date and is subject to change. BCforward will send official notice ahead of a confirmed start date.
Expected Duration: 6+ Months contract with possible extension up to 2 years.
Hybrid: 3 days in the office
Pay Rate : $32.41/hr on W2.
Please note that actual compensation may vary within this range due to factors such as location, experience, and job responsibilities, and does not encompass additional non-standard compensation (e.g., benefits, paid time off, per diem, etc.).
Job Description:
Owning the research, creation, validation and negotiation oversight of client documentation for account opening
Leverage critical thinking skills to customize, streamline, and solution account and documentation needs
Managing client and internal expectations with a continued drive to exceed expectations
Interacting with clients, answering client questions and working with clients to minimize documentation requirements
Representing the team as the Documentation Specialist on your assigned implementations
Collaborate with team and internal partners (Legal, Service, Sales, KYC) to deliver a seamless client onboarding experience
Owning your role and feeling empowered to escalate when support is needed to remove obstacles to success
Preferred qualifications, skills and capabilities:
Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science degree
Paralegal or Juris Doctor certificate
Proven ability to independently identify issues, analyze problems and provide viable solutions
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Time management and organizational skills
Experience in financial services, if possible Corporate/Commercial Banking
Excellent attention to detail
Strong client focus and ability to partner with various internal groups and client coverage.
Review documents to verify correct verbiage, accurate dates and facts.
Ensure printed backup documents (note, mortgage, assignment, print screens, corporate resolution, and prior recorded foreclosure documents) are consistent with the source documents being prep for signature for signer and notary.
Tab supporting documentation for easy identification for signers.
May scan documents into image system. Update daily log indicating complete assignment.
