Salary:

GaN is looking for a Digital Engineer III. This position serves as a subject matter expert providing technical guidance and information to meet requirements. Works independently with minimal guidance on complex projects and assignments. Tasks require expert level application of established methods, procedures, techniques, criteria, and programs. Applies knowledge and expertise to develop and oversee all aspects of a complex system to solve a problem from the initial creation of the system to production and management through the end product or solution. Applies knowledge of the systems engineering process to provide a structure for solving and tracking requirements flow. Decomposes requirements and develops system specifications, integrates parts, and validates requirements against user needs. Conceives and delivers new applications encompassing the methodologies, utility, and process of creating new digital products end to end. Leverages data and technology to produce improvements to applications or develop entirely new solutions. Conducts system troubleshooting and communicates with all parties involved in implementing and using the system.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor s Degree in Engineering or other closely related technical discipline
  • Seven (7) or more years of experience in system development and/or developmental test/operational test of Department of Defense systems
  • Experience must demonstrate each of the following:
    (1) Knowledge of engineering processes applicable to systems for products, people, services, information, natural elements, and/or processes.
    (2) Skill in using various tools to include, but not limited to: SySML, Model Based Systems Engineering approaches, tools, techniques and software (i.e. MagicDraw) as well as Mission Engineering.
