The primary responsibility of the Account Manager Aftermarket Sales is to drive sales growth with a focus on enhancing customer relationships, understanding their needs, and promoting our products and services effectively. This position does not involve direct reports and is a key individual contributor role within the sales team.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the assigned account segment, expanding product offerings and meeting customer needs.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customer contacts to understand their requirements and deliver tailored solutions.
  • Develop a comprehensive knowledge of the company s aftermarket products and services, effectively communicating product benefits and competitive advantages.
  • Execute sales strategies and initiatives to meet or exceed assigned sales targets and objectives.
  • Conduct market analysis to identify trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to inform sales tactics.
  • Prepare and present detailed sales quotes and proposals, ensuring timely follow-up to secure orders.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to facilitate accurate and timely order processing from initiation through delivery.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and market insights, regularly updating management on progress toward sales goals.
  • Represent the company at industry trade shows and events, showcasing products and building relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Perform other relevant duties as assigned, including special projects, programs, and developmental activities.

Requirements:

  • 2-5 years of experience in sales, ideally in the retail aftermarket segment.
  • Frequent travel (50%+) to meet with clients or attend industry events.
  • In-depth knowledge of Walmart's operations, systems, and business practices.
  • Proven record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with customers at all levels.
  • Strong negotiation and closing skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively to meet sales goals.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Self-driven, service-oriented, diligent, adaptable, and a well-organized team player.
  • Highly results-driven, with strong analytical skills, accountability, and integrity.
  • Preferred:
    • Bachelor s degree in business, marketing, or a related field is preferred.
