Job Title: QA Lead, Restaurant Technology
Location: Onsite San Diego, CA
Duration: 6+ Months (Contract)
Summary:
Join Qdoba as a Software QA Lead, where you ll lead quality assurance initiatives for restaurant technologies, including POS, KDS, and hosted ordering platforms. This onsite role in San Diego requires a strategic leader with at least 3 years of QA team leadership experience, strong communication skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality software products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead QA initiatives, including test strategy development, integration testing, and process improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align on quality goals and defect resolution.
- Drive continuous improvements in QA methodologies and tools while maintaining comprehensive reporting using Jira.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 3+ years as a QA Technical Lead, preferably in restaurant or retail industries.
- Expertise in QA tools, processes, and restaurant technologies (e.g., POS, KDS).
- Familiarity with DevOps, software engineering principles, and project management methodologies (Agile/Waterfall).
Competencies:
- Process management, planning, and prioritization skills.
- Strong written communication and problem-solving abilities.
Physical Requirements:
Extended computer use; ability to communicate effectively in person and over the phone.
