Position: Azure Cloud Architect

Location: Chicago, IL (100% Remote)

Hiring: Fulltime with Hexaware Technologies

Job Description:

Responsibilities:

• Work on DC to Azure Cloud Migration
• Plan wave pools and move groups
• Designing and creation of landing zone with the latest industry standards ensuring performance and security
• Design the solution considering the OS compatibility.
  • To implement and test DR as a part of design
  • To design Azure Cloud infrastructure testcases
  • Ensure the design meets all client expectations.
• Work on-site and closely with the client
• Work closely and support the technical teams both onsite and offshore
• To apply various licenses (OS, DB, etc.)
• Create and update Runbook, Technical Architecture diagram, and other required documents

The Role offers:

• Will be part of the technical steering committee responsible for defining the standards, metrics, project governance and overall success of the project and the technical interface to the customer

Essential Skills:

• Total 10+ years of experience
• 5+ years experience of handling Azure Cloud migration projects
• Hands-on experience of all the aspects of DC to Azure Cloud Migration
• Must have experience in planning the wave pools and the move groups
• Must have experience in designing and creation of the landing zone
• Must have experience on DR setup
• Must have experience on domain controllers
• Must possess knowledge about distributed network and CDN, Load balancer, Traffic manager, AGW, SSL implementation
• Working on designing and execution of cloud infrastructure testcases
• Must possess knowledge about DB (Oracle and MS SQL) implementation
• Must possess knowledge about RunBook, Technical Architecture Diagram, etc.
• Must have excellent communication skills
• Should have knowledge of PowerShell
• Should have basic application knowledge (Java, .NET, Python, etc.)
• Should have basic DB (Oracle, MS SQL) Development knowledge
• Should have knowledge on the Application Server
• Must know the security approaches and measures WAF, JWT, OWASP Top 10, PING Access/Federate (Resource Server), 2-Way SSL, app-level Security
• Ability to understand current production problems when issues are raised and be able to analyze and effectively provide solutions.
• Soft Skills: Decent communication, worked in agile methodology.
