ASSYST is seeking a AWS Cloud Solution Architect to support our client project. This is a 100% Remote position but the candidate needs to be Local to Texas.
The cloud Solutions Architect will leverage cloud services to design and implement scalable, robust systems on the (AWS) cloud platform.
Requirements: The candidate must have 8-10 years of proven expertise in the following areas.
- Expertise in Red Hat Linux and Windows.
- Designing and deploying scalable, highly available, and fault-tolerant systems on AWS.
- Providing architectural guidance and oversight throughout the project lifecycle.
- Collaborating with technical and non-technical teams to develop and implement robust cloud solutions.
- Selecting appropriate AWS services based on data, compute, database, or security requirements.
- Hands-on experience designing distributed systems and applications on the AWS Cloud.
- Identifying and gathering requirements to define cloud solutions.
- Assessing existing infrastructure and recommending modifications as necessary.
- Educating teams on architectural principles and best practices.
- Ensuring solutions and infrastructures align with TIERS' security standards.
- Leading technical and design discussions to adopt new technologies and practices.
- Working knowledge of storage and backup solutions provided by AWS.
- Experience with ITIL processes, including ticketing systems like Remedy and ServiceNow.
- Experience managing Archer GRC.
Preferred Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in the below skills
- Knowledge of networking concepts (IP addresses, DNS, TCP/IP, etc.).
- General knowledge of database software such as Oracle, MSSQL, PostgreSQL, etc.
- Knowledge in identity and access management and cybersecurity principles.
- Staying current with the latest cloud computing developments.
- AWS Solutions Architect Certification.
