Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated PowerBI Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in PowerBI and SQL, with a focus on creating insightful and actionable business intelligence solutions. The candidate should have a good attitude and excellent communication skills, with a willingness to learn and improve continuously.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain, and manage advanced reporting, analytics, dashboards, and other BI solutions using PowerBI.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their data requirements and translate them into PowerBI reports and dashboards.
• Create and optimize SQL queries to retrieve and manipulate data from various databases for reporting purposes.
• Design and implement data models (Star Schema & Snowflake Schema) to support reporting and analytics.
• Develop and manage data integration processes for data warehousing and business intelligence solutions.
• Implement best practices for data visualization and performance optimization in PowerBI.
• Provide support and troubleshooting for PowerBI reports and dashboards, ensuring data accuracy and reliability.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest PowerBI features and SQL advancements to continuously improve BI solutions.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a PowerBI Developer or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of PowerBI Desktop features and PowerBI Service features.
• Proficiency in creating complex DAX calculations and expressions.
• Solid understanding of data modeling concepts, including Star Schema and Snowflake Schema.
• Experience with SQL, including SQL Joins & Unions, Window Functions, and Time Intelligence Functions.
• Familiarity with data warehousing concepts, including Datawarehouse, Data Lake, Data Mart, OLTP vs OLAP, Clusters, and Partitioning.
• Ability to create and manage tables, transient tables, materialized views, and views.
• Basic knowledge of PowerBI Advanced features, including Paginated Reports, Tabular Editor, and Power On.
• Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude towards learning and self-improvement.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with PBRS (Power BI Report Server).
• Knowledge of advanced PowerBI features and techniques.
• Familiarity with additional BI tools and platforms.
• Understanding of business processes and the ability to translate business needs into technical requirements.
