Job Description
Administrative assistant for growing Mental Health agency with two locations in Pensacola and Pace Florida. Position post is for our Pensacola office. Must be flexible to assist with a variety of administrative office staff needs. The clinicians and staff at our agency provide compassionate psychotherapy and counseling services to individuals and families of all ages. The administrative assistant is often the client’s first contact with the agency. Our busy office is focused on excellent client care. This person’s responsibilities include communication within the agency and the community while maintaining a professional demeanor at all times.
We need a reliable and well organized person to handle day to day operations with specific attention to efficiency and time management. The administrative assistant is an essential contribution to the overall team effort, with the ability to multi-task with a consistent pleasant attitude.
Job duties include, but not limited to:
Greeting and interacting with clients, managing referrals, computer and telephone skills utilizing appropriate verbal and written communication: adhere to strict confidentiality regulations; light housekeeping to keep the lobby area tidy; some bookkeeping and accounting; scheduling clients and verifying insurances; supply management and overall keeping management informed by reviewing and analyzing day to day procedures; summarizing information and identifying trends. Prior medical or mental health office and billing experience preferred.
