Job Title: Data Architect
Location: Deerfield Beach, FL (Hybrid role with 3 days in the Deerfield Beach office and 2 days remote)

Description:
The Data Architect will have end-to-end vision to see how a logical design will translate into one or more physical Databases, and how the Data will flow through the successive Stages involved. The incumbent will need to be able to address issues of Data Migration (Validation, Clean-up and Mapping), and will need to understand the importance of Data Dictionaries. This individual will also be responsible for providing technical leadership for projects and will be accountable for the end-to-end solution delivery. Additionally, this individual will be the focal and escalation point for all technical and technical delivery issues on the effort.
A data architect will be involved in data governance practices, in data administration, in data integration, and in data modeling. Data architect will be the one establishing policies and goals for those areas. Data Architects will be the one building the conceptual architecture for Data Governance, administration, integration, and modeling. The data architect will be the primary accountable person for the design and delivery of the data solution for the business initiative.
Technical Requirements:
  1. Minimum of 10 years of experience as a Data Architect
  2. Extensive knowledge of data warehouse and BI techniques
  3. In depth hands on working experience with Azure SQL, Synapse and ADF Data Pipelines to ingest data from Azure (such as SQL, Cosmos, ADLS Gen 2.0) and non-Azure sources to Synapse
  4. Working knowledge of Azure Devops CI/CD pipelines to promote Synapse Databases and Data pipelines from non-production to production environments.
  5. In depth hands on working experience of Data modeling and Database Design
  6. In depth hands on working experience of SQL, NoSQL and Big Data knowledge
  7. In depth understanding of Azure Database Security Particularly Encryption, Obfuscation, Role based Access control, etc.
  8. Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  9. Tools knowledge for Data Disciplines
    1. 10.A background in computer science and database management

  4. Works directly with Data Analysts, Solution Architects and Vendors to understand and validate requirements and translate business requirements into technical requirements and designs
  5. Develops strategies for data acquisitions, archive recovery, and implementation of a database.
  6. Logical design of Databases, Data Warehouses and Multidimensional Databases including data flows, conception model and logical models
  7. Serving as a consulting resource for Delivery and Support
  8. Creating strategy and recommendations on a company s future data and tech policies
  9. Collaborating with other team members to build the ideal database, data integration and business intelligence infrastructure and platforms
  10. Establish Data Architecture Design Patterns and best practices
  11. Forward thinking on new technologies and patterns
