Job Titile :- Snowflake Data Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

  • Data Architecture & Development: Design, build, and maintain Snowflake data warehouse solutions that enable seamless integration, data availability, and scalability for business intelligence and analytics.
  • ETL/ELT Development: Develop, test, and maintain ETL/ELT processes and pipelines that integrate structured and unstructured data into Snowflake from various data sources.
  • Data Modeling: Create and manage logical and physical data models, applying best practices for data modeling within Snowflake.
  • Optimization & Performance Tuning: Ensure optimal performance of the Snowflake data warehouse by tuning queries, setting up clustering, and leveraging caching and Snowflake best practices.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with data analysts, data scientists, and business teams to understand requirements and support their data needs.
  • Security & Compliance: Implement security and data privacy best practices in Snowflake, including access control, encryption, and data masking.
  • Documentation & Standards: Document processes, data flows, and data architecture to ensure knowledge sharing and best practices are followed.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: 3+ years of experience in data engineering, with at least 1+ years of hands-on experience with Snowflake.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Proficiency in SQL and understanding of advanced Snowflake features (e.g., data sharing, zero-copy cloning, Snowpipe, time travel).
    • Experience with ETL tools and techniques (e.g., Apache Airflow, Matillion, Informatica, or Talend).
    • Familiarity with programming languages such as Python or Scala for data transformation.
    • Knowledge of data modeling techniques (e.g., star schema, snowflake schema) and data warehousing best practices.
  • Cloud Experience: Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform) and familiarity with data services such as AWS S3, Azure Blob Storage, or Google Cloud Platform BigQuery.
  • Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Education: Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Snowflake certification (e.g., SnowPro Core Certification).
  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) or data lake technologies.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD processes, Git, and Agile methodologies.
