Our Dallas- based client is in search of an IT Compliance Analyst to join their growing team. This is a new 6-month contract, possible contract to hire opportunity requiring four days onsite. The IT Compliance Analyst should have at least 7+ years of similar IT compliance experience, preferably in the manufacturing industry.

CONTRACT SALARY: Up to $120/hour depending on candidates experience, etc.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Perform internal control testing, auditing, monitoring, risk management, and mitigation
  • Identify risks and ensure compliance with industry standards, relevant laws and regulations, and industry best practices
  • Perform quarterly and annual IT testing for internal and external audits, risk assessments, and policy compliance
  • Maintain and develop appropriate policies, procedures, and documentation to maintain compliance with established, as well as new controls.
  • Ensure prompt turnarounds by supporting internal and external audit requests
  • Work with Control Owners to ensure controls are actively managed and monitored throughout the year

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in business management, information technology, or a related field required
  • 7+ years' experience in IT Compliance, IT Audit, or related technical and professional experience, preferably in process manufacturing industry
  • Experience with SOX compliance and IT General Controls (ITGCs), IT Application Controls (ITACs), SOC, and NIST
  • Relevant certifications (CISA, CISSP or equivalent) preferred
  • Project management experience (Must be able to organize and manage multiple projects concurrently)
  • Must have a strong interest / understanding of systems and end-to-end business processes and be able to perform business process control definitions
