Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Application Architect to join our team in Pasadena, CA. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in enterprise integration architecture and cloud computing, with expertise in designing scalable solutions in complex SaaS environments. This position requires hands-on experience with modern integration tools, API management platforms, and cloud technologies, ensuring seamless system interoperability and adherence to data privacy regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement enterprise integration solutions using a variety of patterns (API-led, event-based, microservices).
  • Lead the architecture and development of API management strategies using platforms such as Apigee, MuleSoft, or AWS API Gateway.
  • Develop and maintain integration solutions using tools like Kafka, RabbitMQ, and Informatica.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design cloud solutions leveraging AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform, with a focus on scalability and security.
  • Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
  • Ensure adherence to security standards like OAuth, OpenID Connect, and SAML, while maintaining compliance with GDPR, CCPA, and other data privacy regulations.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex integration and architectural issues in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 7+ years of experience in enterprise integration architecture within SaaS environments.
  • Proficiency in API management platforms (e.g., Apigee, MuleSoft, AWS API Gateway).
  • Hands-on experience with integration tools (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ, Informatica).
  • Solid understanding of cloud computing services (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform).
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
  • Strong knowledge of security protocols (OAuth, OpenID Connect, SAML).
  • Familiarity with data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to adapt in a dynamic environment.

Educational Requirements:

  • Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
