Job Title: Application Architect
Location: Pasadena, CA (Hybrid 2 days onsite per week)
Position Type: Long-Term Contract
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Application Architect to join our team in Pasadena, CA. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in enterprise integration architecture and cloud computing, with expertise in designing scalable solutions in complex SaaS environments. This position requires hands-on experience with modern integration tools, API management platforms, and cloud technologies, ensuring seamless system interoperability and adherence to data privacy regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement enterprise integration solutions using a variety of patterns (API-led, event-based, microservices).
- Lead the architecture and development of API management strategies using platforms such as Apigee, MuleSoft, or AWS API Gateway.
- Develop and maintain integration solutions using tools like Kafka, RabbitMQ, and Informatica.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design cloud solutions leveraging AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform, with a focus on scalability and security.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Ensure adherence to security standards like OAuth, OpenID Connect, and SAML, while maintaining compliance with GDPR, CCPA, and other data privacy regulations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex integration and architectural issues in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 7+ years of experience in enterprise integration architecture within SaaS environments.
- Proficiency in API management platforms (e.g., Apigee, MuleSoft, AWS API Gateway).
- Hands-on experience with integration tools (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ, Informatica).
- Solid understanding of cloud computing services (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform).
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Strong knowledge of security protocols (OAuth, OpenID Connect, SAML).
- Familiarity with data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to adapt in a dynamic environment.
Educational Requirements:
- Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
