  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

Job Summary:

  • Engineering Support is looking for a skilled professional with expertise in RedHat OpenShift to join our global Engineering Critical Production Datacenter team. The ideal candidate will possess a thorough understanding of RedHat OpenShift and virtualization technologies, along with experience in designing and implementing complex IT solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Directly responsible for performing VM migrations to OpenShift through either self-generated scripts or manual techniques.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to facilitate the migration of essential engineering resources to RedHat OpenShift across various regions.
  • Work with stakeholders to gather their requirements and convert them into effective technical solutions.
  • Manage communication and schedule downtime with stakeholders to minimize impact as much as possible.
  • Create and update documentation for the RedHat OpenShift migration process.
  • Oversee the performance of deployed solutions, address any functional issues, and provide recommendations for enhancements.
  • Offer further guidance at other engineering locations, including Bangalore, India; Wichita, Kansas; and Santa Clara, California, to ensure successful migrations.

Qualifications/ Skills Required:

  • Experience in virtualization.
  • Demonstrated expertise in RedHat OpenShift virtualization.
  • Thorough knowledge of virtualization technologies such as High Availability (HA) and affinity rules.
  • Extensive knowledge of Linux/Windows operating systems and networking.
  • Proven experience in designing and implementing complex IT solutions.
  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities and the capacity to perform well under pressure.
  • Outstanding communication and presentation abilities.

Education:

  • At least, High School, Associates, and/or Bachelor s degree in computer science/engineering.
