Our client, a leading broadband connectivity company and cable operator, serves over 31 million customers across 41 states. This is a contract to hire opportunity. Applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis and convert to FTE following contract duration. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.
Rate: $40 - $45 / hr. w2
Must be able to go on site 5 days a week and will be reduced to 4 days a week.

Responsibilities:
- Actively and consistently support all efforts in our Indirect Procurement Category, including Contract Labor and Software suppliers.
- Manage strategic sourcing activities with minimal guidance, including bid solicitation and supplier award recommendations.
- Consolidate and analyze monthly and quarterly reports.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define procurement project requirements.
- Assist in supplier negotiations using benchmarking and analysis.
- Research and develop supply sources; evaluate supplier financial stability.
- Conduct business analysis, including total cost of ownership.
- Provide recommendations based on benchmarking and analysis.
- Collect and analyze resource data to identify trends and forecast insights.
- Understand data within the Indirect Procurement Category.
- Seek and lead cost-saving opportunities.
- Manage supplier performance and rate card updates; assist with miscellaneous activities.
Experience Requirements:
- 5+ years in a Procurement role
- 3+ years in Indirect Sourcing
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree preferably in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or Finance or equivalent proven experience.
