ISSPA Software Developer

Full Time Fort Huachuca, AZ

Secret

Job Description:

Perform programming tasks according to CSLA Software Development Plan (SDP). Develop external interfaces between the ISSPA and pre-existing Government web applications. Perform software modifications to keep pace with new technologies and address technologies reaching end of support or end of life.

The ISSPA Software Developer shall provide assistance for first-level problem solving which includes but is not limited to application troubleshooting, analysis and modifications that require development support.

The ISSPA Software Developer shall enhance and maintain the ISSPA and associated module(s) according to CSLA's SDP guidelines.

The ISSPA Software Developer shall ensure development, testing and deployment to the live systems are performed by the approved project schedule as identified by Government and deliver test results to Government.

The successful Software Developer will:

  • Meet regularly with stakeholders and managers to review business and functional requirements and to determine project scopes and specifications.
  • Develop and maintain operational systems, tools, and processes, and participate in tactical and strategic development projects.
  • Ensure software stability via regression, support quality assurance, and perform unit and user-acceptance testing to identify bugs.
  • Make small edits requested by customers, develop plans for completing larger projects, and suggest solutions to improve existing websites.
  • Perform UI design and coding and create reusable objects for web pages and email templates.
  • Be capable of developing test procedures, establishing test environments, executing security certification test/demonstrations/evaluations, documenting results, and developing reports, conclusions, and recommendations.
  • Be capable of conceptualizing and implementing security systems and architectures.

Qualifications:

Valid DoD SECRET clearance (or higher)

Current IAT Level II certification Security+ or equivalent

Two years of substantial experience working in the field of software development.

Extensive knowledge of web applications, programming languages, and web services - including API, CSS, cross-browser compatibility, HTML, JavaScript, jQuery, .Net Core, security principles, SOAP, and web user interface design.


Education Requirement:

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering or other Engineering or Technical discipline is required. An advanced degree is desirable.

Four additional years of relevant experience can be substituted for the degree
