In this role, you will drive creative projects by developing, producing, and managing video and photography for multiple platforms, including social media, e-commerce, and broadcast. Your role encompasses the full content cycle - from brainstorming and planning to shooting, editing, and delivering polished assets. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Project Management: Coordinate all aspects of content production, including concept brainstorming, scripting, storyboarding, studio scheduling, and managing on-location shoots.
- Creative Execution: Make technical and creative decisions related to lighting, locations, product placement, and set design to create visually engaging content.
- Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams and external partners to confirm production schedules, create call sheets, and manage timelines.
- Content Creation: Develop high-quality content, such as product showcases, DIY tutorials, and social media posts, that aligns with brand objectives.
- Photography and Post-Production: Manage photography retouching, mark up assets, and ensure that final visuals meet brand standards.
- Presentations: Design pitch decks for ideation meetings and presentations to effectively communicate creative concepts.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Content Creation: Personally create engaging written, visual, and video content for marketing and social media.
- Visual Storytelling: Personally handle all aspects of photography, videography, and design to produce original content that creatively showcases product value.
- Brand Consistency: Maintain a consistent brand voice across all content, aligned with Rust-Oleum's mission and values.
- Relationship Management: Build and manage relationships with internal clients, freelance crews, vendors, and talent.
- Production Support: Work with marketing teams to input and support new product launches and promotional efforts.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience: 6-10 years in a production or content creation role, preferably within lifestyle, design, or home improvement industries.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop, Lightroom), and familiarity with Capture One.
- Project Management Tools: Experience with project management software like Teamwork, Asana, or Monday.com.
- Creative Skills: Strong storytelling, copywriting, and visual design abilities. Familiarity with influencer marketing is a plus.
- Studio Knowledge: Understanding of studio lighting and production setups for both photography and video.
- Other Requirements: Strong organizational skills, the ability to work on multiple projects, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
