QA/QC Specialist (Well Completion Domain Specific) Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced QA/QC Specialist (Well Completion Domain Specific) to support a multi-well drilling campaign. The role focuses on the preparation, inspection, and quality assurance of completion equipment for offshore operations. The candidate will work closely with the client and vendors to ensure compliance with quality standards and project specifications.

QA/QC Specialist (Well Completion Domain Specific) Responsibilities
  • Provide expert guidance on quality assurance requirements and standards for completion equipment, preferably with ISO 9001 certification.
  • Oversee day-to-day QA/QC activities at vendor facilities, ensuring equipment readiness for client operations.
  • Perform inspections and audits, including Site Inspection Tests (SIT) and Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT), to ensure compliance with specifications.
  • Inspect and ensure readiness of lower completion equipment, including:
    • Liner Hanger Systems and associated tools.
    • Seal Bore Packer/Gravel Pack Packer and associated equipment (running tools, accessories).
    • Gravel Pack Pumping Equipment, including blenders and tanks.
    • Fluid Loss Devices, such as Flapper Type and Ball Type.
    • Screen, Wash Pipe, and other tools for Well Bore Clean Up (e.g., scrapers, magnets).
  • Inspect and ensure readiness of upper completion equipment, including:
    • Packers and Safety Valves.
    • Completion accessories like SSD, CIV, Tubing Hanger, and Monitoring Systems (PDG, DTS, Spooler).
    • Smart Well Components (Flow Control Valves, HPU, SAU).
    • Xmas Tree, Slick Line, Wire Line, Perforation (TCP, eLine), and related tools.
    • Tubulars, Tubular Make-Up Tools, and Tubular Handling Tools.
  • Work with client representatives to generate reports on non-compliance issues and maintain a detailed database of findings, audits, and corrective actions.
  • Collaborate on the development of annual audit programs and QA/QC standards.
  • Coordinate quality-related correspondence and activities, including pre-loadout checks.
  • Prepare and monitor action plans for addressing non-conformances and ensure close-out documentation.
  • Ensure all activities comply with client and industry standards, including DS-1, API, and ISO specifications.
  • Support client teams in implementing robust QA/QC frameworks for completions operations.

QA/QC Specialist (Well Completion Domain Specific) Position Requirements
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in the oil and gas industry, with at least 3 years in QA/QC for well completions equipment.
  • Proven expertise in lower and upper completions equipment, including inspection, testing, and readiness activities.
  • Strong knowledge of quality standards (ISO 9001, API, DS-1).
  • Familiarity with completion equipment such as Wellhead, Xmas Tree, Packers, Running Tools, and Smart Well Components.
