  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

What You ll Do:

Technical Leadership:

Take charge as the technical lead in complex projects, guiding development teams through all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). You ll ensure high-quality, scalable solutions are designed, developed, and implemented efficiently.

Guidewire PolicyCenter Expertise:

Leverage your 7+ years of experience in Guidewire PolicyCenter to architect, configure, and enhance the platform while ensuring smooth integration with external systems. Your deep knowledge will be pivotal in driving strategic initiatives and technical advancements.

Problem-Solving Pro:

Independently resolve critical, high-impact production issues, troubleshoot complex systems, and lead efforts to optimize system performance. You will be the go-to expert in navigating and addressing system challenges.

Mentorship & Collaboration:

Lead, mentor, and inspire junior developers while fostering cross-functional collaboration with Quality Assurance, business teams, and other key stakeholders to deliver innovative, high-performing solutions.

Innovative Solutioning:

Actively participate in planning, technical strategy, and architectural decisions. Your vision and technical acumen will help drive innovation and ensure the success of critical projects.

What We re Looking For:

  • Experience: At least 7 years of progressive experience in Guidewire PolicyCenter development, including major implementations, upgrades, and conversions.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in GOSU language, PCFs, Rules management, plug-in development, and integration via SOAP/REST APIs.
  • PolicyCenter Specialization: Expertise in configuring Product Models, Policy Rating, workflows, and batch processes within PolicyCenter.
  • Problem-Solving Abilities: Strong debugging and problem-solving skills, capable of resolving issues independently.
  • Leadership & Collaboration: Proven ability to lead technical teams and work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Skills:

  • Certifications: ACE or Specialist certification in Guidewire PolicyCenter is highly preferred.
  • Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with Property & Casualty Insurance, particularly in Homeowners and Commercial Property.
  • Guidewire Suite Knowledge: Experience with Guidewire ClaimCenter and BillingCenter is a plus.
  • Agile Experience: Experience working in Agile teams and understanding Agile methodologies.
  • Enterprise Software Concepts: Familiarity with J2EE technologies, service-oriented architectures, and design patterns.
