- Identifies and analyzes key issues, develops strategies, and advises Chief of Staff on recommended courses of action on a broad variety of topics related to NORAD & USNORTHCOM functions. Uses quantitative and qualitative analytical techniques, knowledge of management processes and techniques to improve support systems and assigned programs.
- Serves as Project Officer for Chief Of Staff directed initiatives and special interest items. Participates in special projects and initiatives and performs special assignments as requested. Performs special and recurring projects ensuring all project objectives are met and completed within established time frames.
- Coordinates review of higher-level taskings, identifies best course of action, potential problems, and recommends Chief of Staff response. Performs high-level integration of analytical and time-sensitive staff activities. Maintains constant awareness of any issues impeding the command mission. Investigates problem areas and recommends definitive corrective/preventive actions.
- Serves as an assistant coordinator responsible for the Commands' Assessor Schedule. Responsible for the synchronization of the Commanders schedule along with the schedules of eight additional general officers to determine the assignment of Strategic Attack, Operation NOBLE EAGLE, and nuclear command and control responsibilities.
