Incumbent typical work assignments may include the following:
- Develops and implements strategic communication plans to support PFPA initiatives and objectives.
- The incumbent drafts speeches and talking points for PFPA Senior Executives and DoD senior officials.
- Assigns special assignments and project to subordinates and ensure work is accomplished in a timely manner and meets the overall intent.
- Manages the policies, development, execution, and maintenance of the agency's three websites (internet, intranet, and extranet) with respect to disseminating information within PFPA and to local law enforcement organizations, security agencies, Military Departments, and the general public.
- Attends workshops, webinars, and courses to stay updated on the latest communication tools and techniques.
